Teresa A. Gregory, CFRE, is an Associate Professor, and Coordinator, Assessment and Accreditation at Point Park University’s Rowland School of Business in the Sports, Arts & Entertainment Management Program. Professor Gregory teaches event management, fundraising, and SAEM Capstone: Business Models. One of her additional responsibilities is oversight the internship program, assisting more than 100 students each year in attaining their learning objectives. Ms. Gregory has served as an Adjunct Professor for the Master of Arts Management program at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School of Public Policy, and has taught fundraising workshops for the Western PA Library Association, the Nonprofit Resource Center at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management at Robert Morris University, and for the Pittsburgh Chapter of the International Association of Fundraising Professionals. Linking her classrooms to the real world, Teresa assists nonprofits in the region achieving their goals through her consulting firm, Pinnacle Fundraising Consultants, LLC. Ms. Gregory has a 30-year track-record as a high-level, results-oriented fundraiser with extensive experience in all aspects of development and nonprofit management. She has been a team leader on campaigns ranging from $200,000 to $40 million working for a wide variety of organizations, including major research universities, professional theatres, museums, as well as small grassroots groups. Highlights include working at Yale School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theatre, the Burke Museum of National History and Culture and StageWest (Springfield, MA). The International Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) has granted Teresa the status of a Certified Fundraising Consultant.
