Raphaela Henze is professor of Arts Management at Heilbronn University and Co-Investigator of the international and interdisciplinary network “Brokering Intercultural Exchange” www.managingculture.net. Prior to joining Heilbronn University in 2010 Raphaela worked in several senior management positions in universities, ministries and foundations. Her main research focus is on the impact of globalization and internationalization on arts management and arts management education. A teacher of arts management, global culture, organizational and HR development in arts organizations to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, Raphaela has just published the first German language book on international arts management entitled “Einführung in das Internationale Kulturmanagement” at Springer VS. The English translation of this seminal work will appear in summer 2017. She studied law at Humboldt-University Berlin and Paris X-Nanterre in France, received her Ph.D. from Ruhr University Bochum and was a post-doctoral fellow at both Yale Law School, USA and the National Institute for Educational Policy Research (NIER) in Tokyo, Japan. Raphaela holds an MBA from the University of London and is always eager to get connected with practitioners and researchers working in international and transcultural contexts.
